Count your visitors
Increasing traffic is one thing, creating good content is another... just how much traffic does your blog get?
There's a quick, easy and free way to monitor the number of visitors you get (or don't get).
Site Meter is a free, fast, and easy way to add a web counter to your web page. Not only does it display the number of visitors to your web site, it also keeps statistics on the number of visits each hour and each day.
Get Your Own Site Meter
There's no program to download; nothing to install. Site Meter also has a variety of web counter styles from which to choose.

I tried this but it did not work. What am I doing wrong?

I've found that the instructions on site meter are a little vague. When you paste the code into your new typelist, put it in the link field (not in the notes)
Then, go to the design section of the blog dashboard and enter the 'change content selection' section.
You need to select the typelist you have just added.
Save and republish the blog.
It should work - but do not hesitate to let me know if you have any problems.
I'd def. get one though - your blog seems to have a LOT of traffic. In the meantime, if you'd like figures on how many you've had just let me know and I'll see what i can do.
Thanks
Katie

Hi guys,
Have you had any more luck on this?
I'll go through the process again myself and jot down the steps with a bit more clarity than the Sitemeter site does.
I'll email you both once the instructions are posted.

I used this one, but I switched to Pmetrics from Performancing. Amazingly cool tool for me to track my visitors.
